Smooth Mashed Potato

Mashed Potato RecipeIngredients

  • Potatoes : 2 large nos
  • Salt : 1/2 tsp
  • Cream : 3 Tbsp
  • Butter : 2 Tbsp
  • Milk : 2 Tbsp
  • Pepper : 1/4 tsp


Method
Pressure cook the potatoes for 3 whistles (Till the potatoes crack). Alternatively, you can boil the potatoes until its well cooked. A slightly overcooked potato is easier to mash. Remove the potatoes from the cooker and peel them.

Warm cream and melt butter, together, either in microwave or in a pan on the stove. Put hot potatoes in a bowl. Add cream and melted butter. Use potato masher or a strong spoon to mash potatoes until well mashed. Adding milk to achieve the consistency you desire. Add salt and pepper to taste.
