This dish is one of the simple dishes you can make for tea
time. I often make them with left over tapioca.
Ingredients:
Cooked Tapioca – 2 cups( Cut into medium sized cubes)
Dry Red Chilly/Chilly Flakes– 6 nos/ 2 tsp(You can increase
the spice level according to your taste)
Garlic pods – 5 nos.
Shallots – 5 nos
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Curry Leaves – 2 sprigs
Coconut Oil – 2 tbsp
Salt – As per your taste
Method:
Please refer our post on how to cook tapioca. Once they are
cooked cut them into medium sized cubes.
Grind the chilly and garlic.(not into a smooth paste).
In a pan heat coconut oil and sputter the mustard seeds.
Once they are done add the curry leaves, Turmeric powder and the red chilly
garlic paste. Cook them on low flame, see to it that they don’t burn.
After the garlic is cooked add the cooked tapioca. Cook them
for 10 to 15 minutes tossing them every 3 minutes.
The dish is ready to be served with hot tea. The dish can be
served with chilly chutney.
Enjoy your dish and have fun cooking.
