All-purpose flour/Maida – 2 cups
Rava/semolina – 1/4th cup
Sugar – 1 tsp
Yoghurt – ½ cup
Baking powder – ½ tsp
Salt – to taste
Oil – for deep Fry
Method:
In a bowl sieve the maida, rava, baking powder, sugar and salt
so that they mix well.
Add the yogurt and mix them with the help of little water to
form a soft dough.
Make sure you use little oil while kneading so that your
hand does not get sticky.
Cover the soft dough with a wet muslin cloth and keep it
aside for 5-6 hrs.
Uncover the dough, you see that it has risen a bit. Knead
the dough once again.
Divide the dough into 5 to 6 balls. With the help of a
rolling pin roll the balls while dusting them in Maida.
Make sure the oil is hot. Fry the bhaturas till they are
brown on both sides.
