Mattar Paneer

Ingredients
Mattar Paneer recipe
Mattar Paneer 
  • Paneer : 500g
  • Mattar/green peas : 1 cup
  • Onion : 1 large sized
  • Tomatoes : 2 medium
  • Green chillies : as per your spice level
  • Ginger Garlic Paste : 1 tsp
  • Jeera : 1 tsp
  • Red Chilly powder : 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder : ¼ tsp
  • Corriander powder : 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala : ½ tsp
  • Milk  : 3 tbsp
  • Hing : a pinch
  • Salt : to taste
  • Oil : 1 tbsp

Method
Microwave the onion for 3 minutes. After it cools down blend it in a blender till it forms a smooth paste. Similarly microwave the tomatoes for 3 minutes and after it cools down blend it in the blender till it forms a smooth paste. Boil the green peas and keep it aside.
Heat a pan in medium flame.  Pour 1 tbsp oil. When the oil heats up put in the red chilly powder, turmeric powder, jeera and hing. After a few seconds add in the onion paste. Add the ginger garlic paste once the onion paste is cooked and oozes out oil.After two minutes add in the tomato paste  and let it cook. After about 3 minutes add in the coriander powder and garam masala. Add in little water.Add salt as per your taste.
After the water comes to boil add in the peas and let it cook for two minutes. 
Add the cubed paneer pieces After about 2 minutes add in the milk.
Garnish it with Coriander leaves.
Its ready to be served with chapattis, nan or rice.
