Pazham pori, My all time favorite. If you ask me, no snack ever beats this one. So i decided to write down he recipe to make this one. What are the key things that will make great pazham pori.
The key to make any dish great is to choose the best ingredients and add fun making it.
In this case, choose really sweet and ripe banana

Ingredients

  • Banana (Ethakka/Nenthrapazham) : 2 nos
  • All purpose flour : 3/4 cup
  • Gram flour : 1/2 cup
  • Sugar : 1 tsp
  • Salt : 1/4 tsp
  • Oil to fry


Method
Cut the banana into thin slices and keep it aside.
In a vessel, Add the all purpose flour, gram flour, sugar salt and a little water. Mix well. The mixture should not be too thick or loose. It should have a dropping consistency. Ensure that there is no lumps in the mixture. Add the banana to this.

In a pan, heat oil. You can either deep fry the banana or shallow fry it. I prefer to shallow fry it as i try to avoid deep fry where ever possible. Fry the banana till it has a nice golden brown color.

Serve hot
