I just love potato wedges. And i just hate the calories that comes along with it. Why is it that with good taste, is always accompanied with a really good number of calories?
Well, here is my humble effort to reduce the number of calories while retaining the taste.
Ingredients
Method
Clean the potatoes and cut it into wedges. In a microwave bowl, add the wedge and water and microwave for 10 minutes. Do note that some potatoes take longer to cook. So if the potato is not cooked after 10 minutes, add a few more minutes into the microwave.
Once out of microwave, drain all the water out. And spread it out in tissue paper. This will absorb even more water off it.
In a nonstick pan, heat a little oil. Add the wedges and heat in low - medium heat. Sprinkle salt, aamchur powder and chili on top of the wedge. Keep turning them upside down and make sure that no side gets burnt.
Take it off the heat once it turn to a nice golden brown colour.
