Pappaya Cheese


The pulp after taking the pectin extract for papaya jelly, is used for making papaya cheese.

Ingredients

Fruit pulp                     1 kg
Pappaya Cheese recipe
Sugar                           1 kg
Butter                          150 gms
Salt
Cashew nuts,rasins      100 gms
Cardamom powder     ½ t sp

Method

Mix pulp and sugar and start cooking in medium heat, stirring all the time. Add butter in small quantities at regular intervals. Add salt towards the end. Continue cooking till halwa consistency is reached. It will take one  and a half hour. When it starts leaving the sides remove from fire and add roasted  cashew nuts and rasins. Add cardamom powder, mix well and spread in a greased plate. Allow it to cool. Cut in to desired shape and serve.
Sweet dish for the sweet tooth.
