Ingredients
Soyachunks 1 cup
Ginger ¼ inch
Green
chilli 1
Garlic 1
Pearl
onions 1 cup
Chillipowder ½ tsp
Coriander
powder ½ tsp
Turmericpowder ¼ tsp
Cinnamon/clove powder ¼ tsp
Coriander
leaves
Oil 3 tbsp
Method
Put soya chunks in 3 cups of boiling water and boil for 2 minutes, drain and wash with
cold water twice. Squeeze out water and
crush in the blender for a few
seconds. Keep aside.
Chop onions, green chilli, ginger, garlic and curry leaves.
Heat oil in a non stick pan and add chopped
onions, green chilli, ginger and garlic and sauté till onions turn light
brown. Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and spice powder.
Saute for a few seconds, add crushed soya and stir well Add curry leaves and
continue cooking for 10 minutes in low flame stirring in between.
Remove
from fire and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with rice/chappaties or can be used as filling for sandwich .
