
Ingredients
- Cabbage 200 gms
- Green chillies 3
- Ginger juice 1 tsp
- Turmericpowder ¼ tsp
- Curryleaves
- Mustard seeds ½ tsp
- Dry red chilli 1
- Salt
- Oil 2 tsp
- Coconut gratings ½ cup
- Rice 1 tsp
- Urad dal ½ tsp
Method
Chop cabbage, and green chillies fine. Add
ginger juice, salt, a few curry leaves,
turmeric powder, and grated coconut and rub in all together with your
hand. Keep for 5 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan, crackle mustard seeds, add
dry red chilli and rice and urad dal. Add cabbage and stir well. Continue
stirring for 2 minutes. Add some curry leaves, stir and stop cooking. See that cabbage is not overcooked. 2 minutes in high flame will do.
Serve with plain rice
