Butter Paneer masala

Ingredients
Paneer (cubed )           200gms
Butter Paneer masala recipe
Tomato puree              1 cup
Green chilli                  1
Ginger                         ¼ inch
Yogurt                         ½ cup
Oil                               2 tsp
Cumin seeds                ¼ tsp
Coriander powder       1 tb sp
Chilli powder               1 t sp
Turmeric powder         ¼ tsp
Garam masala              ¼ tsp
Salt
Sugar                           1 tsp
Butter                          1 tsp
Bay leaf                       1
Green peas (optional ) ½ cup
Coriander leaves

Method

  • Cut paneer  in to cubes wash and drain.
  • Chop green chilli, ginger and coriander leaves
  • Make tomato puree with 2 tomatoes
  • Deep fry paneer to a golden colour and keep aside. Fry  cumin seeds, chopped ginger and green chilli, add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric and garam masala for 2 minutes. Add tomato puree and stir for 5 minutes in low flame, add yogurt and paneer, continue cooking for 5 minutes. Add coriander leaves. Transfer to a serving dish and put butter on top.
Serve hot with pulao or chappaties.
