Quick Fish Fry

Fish fry recipe
Quick and easy fish fry 
Ingredients:

  • Fish : 6 piece
  • Ginger garlic paste : 2 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder : 2 tbsp (Or as spice preference)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper powder : 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice : 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves : 1 sprig (Optional)
  • Oil 

Method:
Marination 
Clean the fish properly and drain the water. Do not shake the fish too much as it may break into small pieces.
Mix ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, salt, pepper, lemon, turmeric and oil (1 tbsp) to make a smooth paste. Apply the paste on the fish on all sides evenly. Keep this aside for 30 minutes in a cool place / fridge.

Cooking
In a non stick pan, heat a little oil. Once the oil is hot, add the fish pieces to the pan. Be careful as the oil may  spurt. Cover the pan and heat in low flame for 5 minutes.
Turn the fish upside down. Take care not to break the fish. Add the curry leaves into the pan, and heat for another 5 minutes.

The fish fry is ready. You can fry it more if desired.
