Ingredients
Tiger Prawns : 6
Chilli powder : 1 tspTurmeric powder : ¼ tsp
Small onions chopped : 1 cup
Green chillies : 2
Ginger: a small piece
Curry leaves : 5 stalks
Oil : 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Method
Clean the
prawns, cut off the eyes, legs and tail.Cook the prawns with chilli powder,
turmeric and salt for 5 minutes Saute the onions, green chillies, ginger in
another pan, when the onions become transparent, spread the curry leaves stalks
over the onions and put the prawns over it, cover the lid for two minutes,
open the lid and stir well and cook in a low flame till the masala coats the
prawns.
Serve with plain rice/fried rice/rotis or chapattis.
