Ridge Gourd Thoran recipe
Ingredients

  • Ridge gourd : 1 no
  • Onion : 1 no
  • Green chilly : 1 no
  • Chilly powder : 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves
  • Egg : 1 no
  • Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
  • oil : 1 tsp


Method

   Wash and cut ridgegourd in to thin pieces.Saute chopped onions,green chilly, add chilly powder and turmeric powder. Add the cut vegetable, cover with a lid and cook for 2 minutes.Remove the lid add salt and egg and stir well. Close it again and cook for 3 minutes.Stir well,stop cooking when all the water is dry. Garnish with curry leaves and serve hot with rice or chappatties
