Orange cake

Ingredients

Eggs : 3
Castor sugar : 200gms
Orange zest : 1 tb.sp
Orange juice : 6 tb.sp
Maida (all purpose flour) : 200 gms
Baking powder : 2 tsp
Salt a pinch
Cinnamon powder : ¼ tsp
Butter : 150 gms

 Method

        Pre heat oven to 180 C. Grease a baking  tray and sprinkle little maida and keep aside. Sieve maida and baking powder together 4 times. Beat butter until fluffy, add egg yolk one by one, beat well. Add castor sugar, orange zest, cinnamon powder, salt and mix well.  Add orange juice and fold in maida little at a time. Beat egg whites stiff and fold in to the mixture.

        Pour into the greased tray and bake for 60 minutes @180 C
