To Marinate
Chicken : 1 kg, Medium size cut
Tomato paste : 3 tbsp
Ginger Garlic paste : 1 tbsp
Turmeric : 1/4 tsp
Green Chillies : 2 finely chopped
Chilli Powder : 1 1/2 tsp
Brown Onion : 1/2 cup
Few mixed Whole spices
Curd : 1/2 cup beaten
Curry leaves : 1 sprig
Salt to taste

Garlic crushed : 1 tsp
Red Chilli : 6 whole
Fenugreek seed : 1/4 cup
Mustard seed : 1/2 tsp
Oil : 1/4 cup

- Make a paste using tomato puree, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, finely chopped green chilli, turmeric and salt.
- Marinate the chicken with the above paste.
- Heat little oil and add chopped brown onion. Heat till the onion turns transparent. Add mixed whole spices and saute for 5 minutes.
- Add the marinated chicken, add 3 cups of water and cook in slow flame until chicken is tender. Add water if required.
- Add the spices and cook for another 10 minutes
- Garnish the chicken with beaten curd.
